For the first time in hundreds of years NYU called a snow half-day!
Not only did I learn about snow blindness, but I was able to sit down and read the Sunday obituaries and find out about this guy,
Geoffrey Burbidge, a founder of the B2FH paper which stated (in brief) how light elements make heavier ones.
Now the cool thing about all of this is that - well, a number of things. It tells us
how life was made - each human has was made from a
supernova's stardust. It also is a basis for awesome things like
Nuclear Fusion. Also the
sun is made of iron and... maybe.

Snow days are the best.
